Maggie's going crazy
Barking at the trees.

Got to get the camera
See what I can see.

Think there's a raccoon there.
Think maybe there's two,

Looking down at Maggie.
Well, what's a dog to do?

Bribe her with a doggy-treat;
Quickly shut the door.

Point and click and point and click;
Take photographs galore.

Raccoons are playing hide and seek.
I think they're here to stay.

But Maggie's resting; quite enough
Excitement for one day.

Maggie is beautiful, and I really love how you've captured her 'excitement'--both in barking and her beauty!
THIS IS FEATURED ON GATHER'S HOME PAGE TONIGHT... and deservedly so! :)
..
U wishing you laughter
By the way, I don't know those dog-taunting raccoons in the photo. I think one may be very, very distantly related but I can assure you we have NOT spoken in years. I will do my best to reach them and tell them to leave your dog alone.
All the dogs I know have reached an amicable agreement. They let me rustle through the trash cans and I make sure to put the lid back on and keep noise to a minimum. Usually
;)
I loved every bit of this!!! I could hear her barking, as I studied the first picture of her. What a cutie!
All of the photos of the raccoons were great, too, but I especially loved the fourth one down. What a capture! *And that gorgeous blue sky certainly had its impact on the viewer's eye. Great work, Sheila. Congratulations, too, on this having been featured on Gather's home page last evening. I saw it! :)
The raccoons were gone the next morning.
