I have never seen the movie but I understand the theme of the movie is that one or both of the main characters are terminal and wish to make a list and then fulfill their last wishes by completing the list. I think that is a great idea. I have a terminal illness and the idea of making that list appeals to me. I will be making my list soon, but I would like to hear from y'all first. If you were told that you had a terminal illness, what is the first thing that you would like to do? What would be on your list? How many items would you have on that list? Would you visit exotic places or want to see certain landmarks? Would you take anyone with you if you went abroad or traveled around? How would you tell family and friends? Would you visit family and friends that did not live by you already? Would you take risks, knowing that you wouldn't live that much longer anyway? If you have children, what would you tell them? Would they go with you while you completed your list? What would be number 1 on your list if money were not an issue? Would you tell anyone that you are on a mission to complete your bucket list? Tell me everything that you could possibly think of, that would make your life complete. I really think that this is an interesting topic and I hope that all who come here and partake of this will join in the fun. I do not mean to make light of death but I also want to live what little time I have left and I am sure you do too.

I'd probably spend more time with my face-to-face friends instead of here on Gather. I'd surely spend more time with the kids and grands...and probably take more pictures to leave for them.
I have a HUGE hangup about dying, so even if I knew I was I wouldn't become any more daring than I am right now.
Picking up and traveling would be what I would do. Just sell everything, buy the biggest and best RV and just go.
Good luck with both your health and your list :)

Take my advice ---- make that bucket list and do those things NOW!!!! When you get sick, it's too late! Nobody sticks around -- they all have their own lives.....I have so many regrets-- things I will never do. Now I am just waiting to die.....don't do what I did! Enjoy life NOW!!!!!!!
I guess there was an upside hidden in the funerals of friends.
travel only if my family could go with me,
the only thing i would like to do
or rather know, if i made a difference in someones life
after all thats what is really left behind
