Another Afternoon Gone to the Birds

One of my greatest pleasures is just to wander around with my camera looking to see who is out and about. It seems like it is getting close to Spring around here even though the weather fluctuates wildly from warm and sunny to cold and windy from day to day. Yesterday was right in the middle, cool with a slight breeze and a little cloud cover punctuated by bursts of sunlight. It was quite beautiful. The birds were out in force and the woods were full of their voices.  I don't have a lot to say about these pictures only that I was fortunate yesterday afternoon to see so many beautiful birds. I just want to share: Enjoy.

Beautiful photo essay! I love cardinals. I have a cardinal that frequents the apple tree in my back yard. It is there every morning around the same time.
