Who is trying to reach 3000 posts this month?

Is anyone else trying to reach over 3000 posts in March? What is that number we need to get the cash option? I think it was 3150 or so. I will have a lot more computer time than usual the next few weeks, so I am going to see if I can make it this month and get on the cash option.

If you are trying to make it, too, post here and maybe we can all help each other get there.

This is really the first month that I have been active. But my motto in most things is - Go Big Or Go Home. So, yes I am aiming for the 3000 mark!

I still don't know if I would take the cash option or not even if I could. But getting all those points would be great too! Good luck everyone!

Good luck for those of you who are trying to make it. I willl get to some serious posting in the next few days. I will be spending the next few weeks hanging out in a hospital while my husband is a bone marrow donor for his sister and while she gets medical treatments. My job is just to be there for them and make sure they are where they need to be and that they are doing ok. So, I should have lots of time to hang out here.

Wow Karen, that sounds like a big deal. good luck with getting the 3000 points. I have never even come close. Just don't have enough spare time to attempt that many points, or posts!

The number of points needed is 3125--what it takes to earn $50 in GC. I received an invitation to the cash option the last week of February based on my January points. Hope that clears it up. Now if anyone knew how you earn points. No longer from multiple commenting!

Yeah, it's "around three thousand points" -- but when I first converted to cash, it turned out to be around 3,150 points at the time. My recommendation? Post at least a couple of articles a day, and help out content featured in Comment Speedway and Rating Resurrectionists. Not only might you find your own content showing up there, but there's a good chance it'll introduce you to new Gatherers who can help you more! And most important, relax and have fun with it -- if you allow it to become 'publish or perish', you'll get burned out before you can cash out.

I hope that you make that 300 point goal. Although, I would love to get that many points in one month, I still wouldn't want the cash option. I like the gift cards because I use them to get cleaning supplies and (detergent for the clothes, dish soap, and paper towels). I know that sounds messed up, but I like the gift card option.

I'm going for 1565 or whatever teh 25.00 payout is, I'm hoping to get a 25.00 gift card as a christmas gift.
