Saturday Tea Party

         Yesterday, my daughter and I went to a tea party! We both put our pretty dresses on and dressy shoes. When we got there, there were tables set up for the adults and a little table with chairs for the girls. The kids had play tea sets for their tea (it was lemonade!) and the adults had tea cups for their coffee or hot tea. There was also a lot of goodies to eat and my daughter definitely had her fill! After the tea and eating, the girls went to another room and decorated a heart thing that you can hang (I will put up pictures soon!). We had so much fun! I wish we could go to something like this more often!

My daughter and I have done this, though she drank ice tea instead of hot tea. She had a blast. Can't wait to see pictures.

Very cute. We do tea parties at home -- I keep hot cocoa and tea on hand and the boys come grab a mug too!

Last year the local pottery place did a special girls' princess party (no moms allowed) where the girls dressed up, made a clay princess crown to paint and fire, and got a little stone necklace. They had tea and read stories. She had a blast!

That sounds like so much fun. I always wanted to do something like that. I wonder if I could set something like that uap and invite the neighbor girls over.
