Congratulations to all of you. You did wonderful pieces. I can't wait to read them all, and I do apologize for reading them late. We have been putting down polyurethane in the front downstairs bedroom and it has run us upstairs. But I can't wait to read the rest of them and I think you are some of the best writers on Gather. Thankyou for the kind comments. I'm delighted to have won, of course, but when you read the fantastic variety of high quality, deeply felt and skilful poetry you can only feel that the judges have a really daunting task. Anyway, what is a cantelope? Is it a made up word?
