OK, so now I feel foolish

I am taking an online class about the poet John Keats. Every week we have a reading assignment and have to post what we thought or found interesting about the reading. After making an initial post about each various section of the reading (like one per chapter or poem) we are supposed to respond to at least 2 other people in the class. There are only 4 of us in the class to start with.  If there has been no other posts, we are to respond to ourselves.
So, tonight I was hurrying to complete the assignment before the cut off, and no one else was around to post. I responded to myself like we are supposed to do in that situation. Then, wouldn't you know, I realized the assignment isn't due until next week! The rest of the class is going to think I have lost my mind. And I think they may be right! LOL
You know what they say, insanity is when you talk to yourself and then answer. I just did that several times in the class forum! LOL
