Hmmmmm....

As I flutter through some random images here on Gather... I can't help thinking, yet again, how much I would like to include some of this marvelous work with some of my own. A series of articles has poured out of me over the last year or so...

Each article is about a Nature Teacher... a tree, animal, plant, bird, stone, etc found in nature that has something to teach us. They are slowly taking the shape of a book.... How would it be if those who feel they have some visual content to add were to post their images,Original Work Only... and when I submit the book for publication, the top... say five or so works can be submitted with it... as I understand it, if they chose to use your images you would be paid individually for it...

Are these just the ponderings of a wild Entwife with a vivid imagination? Hmm....

'Course... I'm also assuming some one will want to publish my writing, lol but, hey... I'm an optimist, what can I say? ...

I'd like to do a book, a kid's version, and a desk calendar...

Your thoughts? The book opens with Wolves... the rough draft for that section is posted here...

This sounds like a great idea. I can envision quite an interesting coffee table book. Unfortunately, I am not personally artistically inclined-- at least not with visual arts. I hope you find your collaborators.

What a great idea. I thumb through my group often to look at the photos and read the articles over and over again. So many great pieces posted there and often think that all of it as a whole would make a wonderful publication. There is something for everyone, from the house pet to the exotic, and so many forms of nature are found and it is constantly growing. I agree with those who state above "ask and you shall receive". Drop me a line anytime, you are the perfect person to set out on this venture.
