Benny the Bat

Within the deep dark galaxy

A green lights appears

He is the tiny watchman

Benny the Bat

When danger is spotted

He tells Human Cardinal

Who always plays chess

With Blue Tornado Boy

Never part of the action

But full of wisecracks

That the others ignore

In truth he is wise

Human Cardinal boast

Blue Tornado Boy nods away

Benny will roll his eyes

Saying Oh! Brother!

Often comical

But his job is not

The little bright light

Benny the Bat.

I wrote about Benny in my poems about Icey the Bat, who lives on the ice planet of Cong. Benny live in Brooke Meadow Lane. A one street town that circles an entire planet. It is the only town on the small planet which also called Brooke Meadow Lane. This place is also the home of the superhero Human Cardinal ,and his sidekick nephew Blue Tornado Boy. I also posted a poem about him sometime back.

Years ago I posted their adventures on another site, and now bringing them here.
