Why Senator Obama is NOT a Muslim

     Once again, Senator Obama has been made out to be a Muslim. But let me state my facts. I have been to Trinity United Church of Christ. Senator Obama worshipes there. I have met Senator Obama. He is a Christian, and he worshipes Jesus Christ. I agree that some things at Senator Obama's church would not fly in my church. I am Baptist, and I live in Tennessee, the Baptist stronghold and headquarters. But I worship the same God that Barack worshipes and if Senator Obama really was a Muslim, then he would be in grave danger for openly worshiping Jesus Christ with other Christians, due to the fact that extremists wouldnt put up with something like that. And just because his father was Muslim, and his mother was Athiest, that doesnt make him a Muslim. Thats where everyone is getting confused. People are mistaking the Muslim faith to be a nationality. Americans, as stubborn as we are, immediately judge Muslims, just because they may have originated in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, etc. This is what is taking place toward Senator Obama. Yes, his father was Muslim, but that doesnt make him one as well. I have members of my church, whom are 100% Middle Eastern descent. But guess what, every Sunday, me, and those members of my church all bow down and worship our savior and king, Jesus Christ. Guess what else, their generation before them were Muslim. So to make my point, Americans should stop judging and jumping to conclusions based on nationality, and stop calling them radical extremists just because the generation before them was Muslim. Barack Obama is a great man, and yes he has his flaws, as does every person that walks this Earth. However, it comes down to what that person has. Barack is a man of character, integrity, and promise. I trust him and he sure as hell will be getting my vote in November, not because he is black, not because he is a man, not because his father was Muslim and his mother was Athiest, not because he lived in Indonesia, not because he is a politician, but because he is a leader.
