On the Road: Sky Pirates of Valendor Release Party At The My Mummy Productions Collectibles Show, South Attleboro MA

On sunday some friends of ours were celebrating the release of their new full-length comic book, Sky Pirates of Valendor.

The venue was the My Mummy Productions Comics, Toys, Nonsport Cards, Model Kit and Diecast Collectibles Show at the Knights of Columbus Hall in South Attleboro MA.

Free Lunch Comics had a table set up at the show featuring their debut edition of Sky Pirates of Valendor, written by Everett Soares with art by Brian Brinlee and Michael W. Kellar. Everett was there with his wife Susan, who did editing and marketing for the book.

This is actually the second issue of Sky Pirates of Valendor. They released an "Issue 0" in conjunction with Dimestore Productions' Small Press Idol competition, which they took second place in.

The comic is lots of fun, as was the show. I picked up a bunch of comics at bargain prices, and saw some of our friends from Comic Book Artists' Guild as well as some people we've met at other shows.
