I am late but JUMPin' on that bandwagon and trying to avoid the mud.....
My mixed CD soundtrack of my life would have:
1) Fiona Apple's Paper Bag
Because she knows that.....
"Hunger hurts, but starving works, when it costs too much to love"
2) The Beatles' There are Places I Remember ....at least I believe that is the name of the song..... I just love it for too many reasons to name.
3) Foo Fighters' The Pretender
It is so my personal fight song.....when I am tired and angry.
4) Kalaeloa's Kiss U in the Morning
It is simple. It is sweet. And a lot of people might say it is sappy. But there is something beautiful and pure about it. It makes me hope and dream for someone I could actually kiss in the morning.
5) Maroon 5's Secret
Because who hasn't had that ache. And they put it so... so.... mmm.
6) Sarah Mclachlan's well everything she does....I just love her. Possession and Ice Cream are 2 of my faves
7) NIN's Head Like a Hole
Actually this song scares the crap out of me....but I hear it a lot. Because some things scare the crap out of me.
8) Los Toros Band's No Pude Quitarte Las Espinas
I just love this song....I cannot help it. And it is true....sometimes you cannot forget someone that you had loved and you can never go back.
9) Bacilos' Caraluna or Solo Un Segundo
or really anything Bacilos does because it takes me places.....in only one second.
Just a piece of the song but it says it all.

This is called, "In My Life." It was going to make one of my lists, but now I don't have to! I love you!
I actually love, love, love the Beatles.
ooh and can I add one more?
"Me Voy" by Julieta Venegas ...que lastima pero adios..... :D
And I lurve Lily Allen. She is such a badass.
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
\swoons
It's partly the harpsichord and it's partly the harmony... screw it. I don;t think I spelt "harpsichord" rite. I'm not in the mood to quibble with myself.
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life, I love you more
I like your list. In My Life is my favorite Beatles song and will most definately be played at my funeral...
I'd rather die than give you control.
Head like a hole.
Black as your soul.
Id rather die than give you control
Did you crap yet? He! He!
OK back to the beauty.....It is amazing how much you can visualize with all the Beatles songs....I just love them and it makes me sad to know that there are only two left. It was Yoko's birthday the other day and I was amazed at her age. She was not the Beatles but yet she is a part....whether you deny it or not. *lump in throat*
John O. My first concert was Duran Duran....hee...how is that for useless trivia. Well...hmmm. actually don't know how accurate that is. My dad is a musican and one of my first memories was going to an outdoor performance of Jesus Christ Superstar. I remember the adults arguing about it. I remember that I so wanted to be Mary Magdelene. Thus far I have done better than I thought.
Lainie! Which group....ack! I must, I must.
Honey...I am not sure.......I say freestyle it sister.
Joy....may I swoon with thee?
Renie.....she is sooooo cool. And when I am depressed about men....that IS my soundtrack....the Alright Still CD.
NIN---my faves....
