Lonni stirred catlike, admiring Ronni's undraped form.
"Your purse and wallet are in his room." purred Ronni, dangling a house key. "They got the search warrant. How'd you get away?"
Lonni popped her with a pillow.
"I kissed him. So he's your psycho Ex?"
Coffee. The aroma brought memories. The kiss. The knee. The flight from the alley.
Ronni wandered into the kitchen to pour coffee.
Lonni hugged her from behind, hands flowing freely. Lovingly.
"I love your coffee. I can't imagine living without it."
The Ex said that. So did others before him. All convicted killers.
Ronni smiled.

This would be neat as an illustrated four page leaflet.
A single panel illustration for each 100 word chapter, with the words below.
Maybe you could even make a series of drabble adventures.
