Of course, we all know it passed. It's worth going back in history because Hillary has clearly stated that she wants to roll back the Bush tax cuts to the rates to what her husband had.
Let's review some of the points in the article:
- raise the taxes of almost all Americans (including low income)
-raise taxes for individuals and businesses by a total of nearly $250 billion over the next five years, one of the largest tax increases in American history
- raise the tax rate on corporate profits
- capital gains would remain 28 percent (15 percent under Bush)
- The second-biggest revenue raiser, about $70 billion over five years, would be the new fuel tax, which would go into effect next year. The tax would mostly be passed on to consumers, who would see it on utility bills, at the gasoline pump and in the price of many products and services like airline travel.
-Retired couples with incomes (adjusted gross income plus tax-exempt income and half of their Social Security payments) of $32,000 and single retirees with incomes above $25,000 would have to pay taxes on up to 85 percent of their Social Security benefits. Now, they are taxed on only 50 percent.
- Only half the cost of business meals and entertainment would be deductible, down from 80 percent now.
You get the point. They tax you at every turn, no matter your lot in life. Then they piss it away. Say no to Hillary, say no to Obama.

Btw, the Clinton budget of '93, which included the tax increase on millionaires which republiCONs claimed was going to "destroy the economy," not only didn't do what the CONs said it would do, but it also managed to begin to make significant headway in paying down the trillions of dollars of republiCON debt.
When Bush stole office, the national budget was in surplus. The intent of this was to shore up Medicare and SS, which Clinton was well aware would require additional funding in the coming years. Had Bush not gutted the budget by massively increasing federal spending while handing out hundreds of billions of dollars in tax welfare checks to millionaires, we'd be in far, far better shape, not only today, but tomorrow as well.
RepubliCONs can't manage a budget. They are fiscally reckless and dangerous to this country, because their gluttonous, irresponsible debt spending habits require us to mortage our nation's future to nations that may or may not have our best interests in mind.
Historically, the nation performs much better, economically, under democratic rule than under republiCON. There's a very good reason for that. Borrow and spend is a failure, every time. It is irresponsible and detrimental to this nation. No wonder the CONs adore it so.
Well, if you had a brain you would know that a) Republicans were a majority back then, and b) they authored the balanced budget act.
I'll grant you that this last round of Republican majority during Bush SUCKED. Again, it was congress, not Bush.
As for Clinton, all he did was ride the Internet boom. Anybody who says different has an agenda.
Lying sack o' shit. Not a SINGLE republiCON voted for that budget. Check your facts, flying monkey boy.
RepubliCONs do NOT KNOW HOW TO BALANCE A BUDGET. PERIOD. They've been proving this every single year that they've defiled the white house over the past 30 years.
"I'll grant you that this last round of Republican majority during Bush SUCKED."
Excuse me, but republiCONs have been racking up trillions of debt dollars ever since Redink Ronnie taught them how. Again, check your facts, fool.
" Thanks for playing. "
You are truly clueless, aren't you? Let me guess...republiCON, right? Thought so.
Really, then how did it pass? Please explain.
McCain may not be my first choice, but he is definitely, my only choice.
I was inclined to pay attention to you because I enjoy hearing all sides of an issue, but you lost me when you found it necessary to comment on Chelsea Clinton's body.
Comments like that lay waste to most anything you might have to say.
"I'll grant you that this last round of Republican majority during Bush SUCKED. Again, it was congress, not Bush."
Yeah, I do believe he just forgot he had the power of veto. What can we expect from a chimp. Good thing he remembered before the dems got in, eh?
In twenty years from now I will gladly buy you a history book that primarily focus's on George Bush's reign.. *sorry having a hard time NOT throwing up while typing this!* and I am surely willing to bet my virginity that it will not only illustrate what a dumb and uncompassionate bastard he is but the actual statistical numbers for all of his failings.
Paying special attention to the billions he has lost and spent unproductively, as well as the lives he traded in for that big picture that didn't quite work out. At the end of his reign all he will be known for is that he put the US in the biggest debt we have faced in our lives, we had the largest terrorist attack on US soil, the guy he was chasing after, that war he wanted to win, ended with similar results or sorry WORSE results then his Big Papa, Hence the song "I got it from my Daddy!" As for his successes I think that's pretty evident = 0. Oh no wait, I think he has learned how to spell Massachusetts correctly! To bad your boy Mitt Romney didn't win, clearly he already knew how to spell it.
Oh wait I forgot he implemented the "No child left behind program", oh wait, how it that working for us again?
I agree... it was distastful, and she's a good kid. Sorry.
When I travel to NY, there are not many options for cheap food. And drinks are over $10 a pop. Now, I suppose I could sit in my hotel room like a stooge, but my mind still works, so I need to go out and do something.
When I'm home, I have all the luxuries like a TV/computer, refridge with food, my kitties, my geetars and such....
In conducting business, you should be able to write it off.
Firstly picking on a poor young girl who wouldn't give you the time of day to start, just proves how fecking mature you republican men are. It also futher proves why they keep finding you in bathrooms and with naked young boys..
"just proves how fecking mature you republican men are"
Yeah... and Billy boy boffed a 22 year old in the oval office.

Are you children listening to your future Mommy Government????
Well, he never inhaled, and she never swallowed...but they both puffed on the pipe ;)
And boy, it will be great to be an insurance provider when you have customers forced to buy your product. How can anybody be a dimocrat?
Hillary said it was hypothetical, then Tim insisted it was reality. Sometimes that Timmy of Meet the Depressed does ok. Of course, they both hem and haw and never give a straight answer... that is your FUTURE SECURITY folks.
I sincerely hope you're right.
And you say that as you sit securely behind your computer -- no worries.
Kent -- despite Clinton's largest increase on the American taxpayer, the economy did well because of the Internet -- not Clinton. You know, it would have been nice if people could have kept more of THEIR money back then when it was booming. Instead, you have a large class of people in their mid sixties who can't retire. Their earning years and best opportunities were sucked away by high taxes. Truthout, bro.

Excerpt for the lazy moonbats:
The Bush Administration today released the September 2007 Monthly Treasury Statement of Receipts and Outlays of the United States Government. The statement shows the actual budget totals for the fiscal year that ended September 30, 2007, as follows:
A deficit of $163 billion;
total receipts of $2,568 billion; and
total outlays of $2,731 billion.
Bush has not gotten proper credit from the press for this.
Oh, and by the way, I'm going to start counting how many times you use the word "liberal" or "libs". You seem to be somewhat obsessed with it.
My son,
You do the devils work.
Repent!
