Hello everyone!
Well, it looks like I'm *finally* getting better. I thought I'd share with you some of my favorites from YouTube and the blogosphere in general. We freethinkers gotta cross-promote, ya know?
This week, we'll start with the hiliarious web comedy of Mr. Deity. The creator and director, Brian Keith Dalton, plays God. Each episode is around three mintues long, and is chock full of irreverant quick-witted humor as "Mr. Deity" goes about setting the universe and working out the affairs of us lowly humans. Being that God supposedly created us in his own image, Mr. Deity is a modern-day middle-aged businessman, of the helpless, play-it-by-ear C.E.O. ilk. He's aided by his poindexter assistant, Larry (played by Cinematographer Jimbo Marshall), and his son Jesus occasionally shows up.
Dalton is finishing up the second season now, and has signed a deal with Sony Pictures to try to get the show on HBO. I hope you'll check out Mr. Deity on crackel.com. You'll be whistling the theme music in no time!
(Note: Famous and loud atheist Penn Jillette also has his 'Penn Says' spot on crackel.com)
I'll share some more with you later.
