I have entered Isabella in the HSUS photo contest, feel free to vote for her here. Just type Isabella in the search box at top right (select pet's name). She should be on the end of the second row of pics.

Isabella is a purebred. She still ended up in a KILL SHELTER despite having papers.
A local rescue group saved her and she got another chance. Most animals are not so lucky!

Scipio, top cat, was adopted from an ad in the paper at six weeks of age. He was neutered as soon as possible. Marius was a stray. The neighbors threw him out with the trash when they moved. He came neutered and front declawed. Tiberius found us one night. He was a year old and definitely not neutered. That was remedied in very short order. Since he was over a year old, our vet gave us a "pet population control" discount.
I have one spayed mini pin. One not,I don't plan on it right now either.
