Artistic Therapeutics® is about the use of the creative process to increase self-awareness, thereby providing an avenue for positive transformation in your life.
In our Artistic Therapy Group on Gather, we discuss Art Therapy and the many ways in which we can all benefit by the process of exploration of the CREATIVE ARTS. Artistic Therapeutics® (akin to Art Therapy) affords insight into self, others, and your relationships. The process of utilizing Artistic Therapeutics® brings forth a better understanding of the inherent creative and artistic gifts and talents not formerly recognized within oneself.
The goal is to initiate a positive transformation in your life, and WE can ALL use a positive transformation in our lives.
Art Therapy helps individuals cope better with stress, work through traumatic experiences, increase cognitive abilities, and have better relationships with self and others. Exploration of Artistic Therapeutics® affords an avenue to better enjoy life-affirming pleasures of the creative experience. Join us to add your input, photos, artworks, ask questions, meet and interact with other artistic creatives and learn more about Artistic Therapeutics®. Let us GATHER together!

Also we are embarking on making and keeping NATURE JOURNALS as a family. I will make our journals and we will take them to places like state parks and to visiting the cranes. I'm trying to get Clint involved in some of these things. I think it's good for Gideon to see differing art styles.

Please do set aside some time to spend with us. WE are all in agreement that help and interaction are good medicine when it comes to the ARTS.
Trust me Rose ~ You will really enjoy yourself with us ~ We're a FUN BUNCH!
. . . and ARTISTIC TOO {wink}

NATURE JOURNALS as a FAMILY . . . what a great idea!
WE should all try our hand at some kind of Art Journal . . . WE are all still in the middle of our ART JOURNAL COLLABORATION PROJECT.
You have great ideas Jen. I'm trying to keep up with you ~ "Keeping up with the JGC's" ~ It's a hard job Jen, but somebody has to do it! ~ LOL
Your Friend till the end ~

It was a lot of fun, though.
Yes, I found this nature journal book at the library and Clint became interested in it. We decided to nature journal as a family. :) It should be fun, I think.
Yes the Art Journal! I HAVE MY JOURNAL! It's small, lined (good for writing - not so good for drawing) and it's travel friendly. (I found I liked the BIG ones, but for travel those are not very good) So, I got a smaller, travel friendly one. It's beautiful. It spoke to me the instant that I saw it. (And it was NOT the journal I had planned to buy, lol)
My journal:
It fits me well, don't you think? The cover is made up of imported Italian cover materials.
I even wound up having someone I met at the conference tell me to contact her when my novel is published... she said she'd buy a copy. Rene, it keeps getting stranger and stranger how many tell me this knowing nothing about the plot.
Rene, don't sell yourself short. You have fabulous ideas too. Remember we inspire one another to come up with these ideas. It truly is a COLLABORATION!
Indeed it is a hard job, but if anyone can do it YOU can!
Your happy artistic friend,
Jennifer
