I am posting these quotes here to give some of the writers on gather, who have been made to feel inferior, a little boost. I am one who doesn't know a damn thing about grammar or anything to do with the sort, I write from time to time and occasionally scribble and sometimes follow that with a doodle!

Me too, ya know? I still doodle that doodle I doodled in highschool, so it seems to be a relaxing doodle.

Yea, I hate when others pick on those writing for their spelling errors. Sorry, but I'm one of those people who write in here. I don't copy/paste it from elsewhere. And to my knowledge, there is no spell check on here. Plus, when I write, I need to get it all out right away or it won't come out. So if I make an error because I go to fast or I had thoughts tumbling in my brain... so be it.

I agree Kathryn. I can see beyond mistakes and actually see what the author is trying to say. Some of the best writings were not intended to be seen by the "world" but were. There is a job out there for those who like to critique other peoples writings...I believe it's called Editing!

I am one that is not very good at the grammar part but I really don't care what people think and if they don't want to read what I write because they don't like the way I write than thats ok, I don't have to read there articles and then they won't get that gather point does not hurt me any Thanks Cherish

Tina, I feel the same way.

I just think all the criticism some people recieve on here can cause them to be timid and not write to their full potential, and by that I mean worry more about puncutation, spelling and where that one lil comma goes than just letting everything flow and develop without any inhibitions.

I actually know a lot about grammar but it seems to have exited into the extroverse. Honey, we have a couple people on here who teach college leve English who can't spell, go figure.
