Fun in a Fire Hat (Photo Essay)

Did you know that you can have a lot of fun just sitting around and wearing a plastic fire hat? It even makes your Mom grab her camera and start taking a million pictures. Sometimes the pictures get a little old but I just try to grin and bear it.

I was just playing and watching Go Diego Go when I spied my middle brother's fire hat that he had just gotten from the 99 cent store. I thought it would be fun to put it on backwards and that's when my Mom started snapping pictures.

 Here I am, in all my glory:

Mom suddenly came over and turned the fire hat around the right way. I musta forgot how to do it.

Are you done yet Mom?

See. I even graced her with a small smile.

It's hard getting this hat on just right.

Mom kept blathering about how cute I looked, that my oldest brother used to have an obsession with fire hats when he was my age and would wear then all the time. Soon my fun was at an end when my Mom realized I was sitting on something I wasn't supposed to.
