I have just been informed of the fact that there are over 30,000 cremated remains unclaimed in this country. Many of these remains are veterans of various wars, who deserve to be honored for their service to the protection and freedom of our great country.
Yes, each and every one of these unclaimed people who are stored in crates, boxes and such in the basements of the funeral homes of America. There is a government program that has been put into action called the Missing In America Project(MIAP).
We all need to do our Christian and American duty, to contact our representatives in Washington and our state capitols to see what we can do to assist the government in locating all of these remains. Once found, we must do our level best to ensure that these people get the proper interment that they all deserve. I do believe that the MIAP is working on having a dedicated cemeteries for the veterans among the unclaimed.
Then we should pray to God(as we each understand Him) for the families of these people. How could someone just forget to collect the ashes of a loved one?
Thank you for you support in getting these good people a final resting place.
