My husband (bless his big heart) built a new piece of furniture for me. My husband doesn't get really excited about Valentines Day......with all the hearts and mushy stuff what guy really does. He brought me chocolates/nice card on Valentines Day and that made me happy. Who doesn't like chocolates? (except maybe my hips!)
He's been out in the garage late several nights throughout the last two weeks. He kept saying he was working on a project for one of his friends. Normally I would have been out there snooping around, but the kids have had me going from sun-up to sun-down. So I would just crash as soon as they went to bed. I would hear an occasional hammer or saw going here and there, but didn't really think much about it.
So last night Lenny said he had a surprise for us. I was thinking, OH NO, because sometimes his surprises are wierd, but this one was really a welcome one. It was a brand new coffee table for our living room. He built it from scratch and then put dark stain to match some other pieces.
Here is my daughter Maddie sitting on the couch enjoying looking at the new table!
Another surprise is that the table actually opens up for storage! It is now my new storage center for my scrapbooking supplies!
I also want to apologize for the darkness of the photo. My camera is not working right. I am thinking about getting a new one very soon!
