What is you list of pet peeves?

One item per post please....

 

ONE OF MINE:  I HATE WHEN PEOPLE TIE THE LITTLE KNOT ON THE SIDE OF THE TRASH BAG IN MY GARBAGE CAN.

It only allows 1/2 of the capacity of trash in the bag....I had to write around the rim of my trash can at work for the cleaning guy NOT to tie my trash bag.  If he ever does, I have to waste the bag and do it all over again with an untied bag....UGH !!!

The bag HAS to be a bit larger than the can and it needs to flap down over the side. Especially my can at work. I only really have paper trash in it but OOOOOHHHHH it furiates me. LOL

Not replacing the toilet paper...drives me nuts when I go in to a bathroom at home and the TP is GONE.

I also hate when people wear loud perfume so that everyone within a room can smell it. Perfume gives me a horrible headache and it is just awful.
To me it is no different than lighting up a smoke in a crowded room.....PEWWWWW, they both STINK !!!!!!!!!!!

I hate it when people do not put their trash in the trash can or their dirty dishes in the sink....but rather leave them sitting here and there for ME to dispose of.....aargh!!

when people are swimming in a pool and up comes a light afternoon rain shower...no lightening, no thunder....just a good spring or summer rain shower.
check it out next time.....EVERYONE GETS OUT OF THE POOL AND RUNS FOR COVER !!!!

ha ha ha ha ha....it is true....we lived across from the pool at our apartments for 12 years and we saw it all the time !!!

People who drive without their headlights on when headlights would benefit others being able to SEE you.
Add to that, people who drive with their parking lights only on. Hello? You aren't PARKED!

I also love when the cops in my area decide at 7:30 am when the local roads are at a gridlock because it is "rush hour" and they set up their speed trap.
ARE THEY SERIOUS???? What do they think I am going to start to fly down the road at 5 mph?? LOL

I dislike it when people stand in the middle of an aisle in the grocery store and they aren't even looking at the groceries. They just stand there like they are the only people alive.

if you don't tie the knot the bag usually falls into the can and garbage gets everywhere....

Mine is when you wait in line for at least 10 min and the guy in front of you gets all his stuff rung up and the girl says that's$150.24 and then the person digs for their money or wallet for at least 2 minutes. It's like they forgot they had to pay at the end??!!

I hate it when I stop on the side of the road to read a map and people stop to ask me if I need help finding somewhere. I now that they are trying to be helpful, and I don't want to stop them from helping someone who might actually need help finding a location. But, if you have a map how on earth can you be lost? Having a map should mean you are NOT lost. I understand that some people can't read maps and the person stopping to help you doesn't know if you can or not, but it still drives me crazy.

As an Environmental Hygiene Engineer, (LOL, I'm a Janitor and proud of it), I tie a small knot on opposite sides of the liner's top.. This leaves the liner evenly dispersed in the container. My pet peeve....snuff spit in the trash cans!

I hate it when we're all lined up in traffic, trying desperately to get through the light without getting caught in the center, and someone feels the need to leave 2 car lengths empty in front of them while stopped. If they'd move up, that would be 2 more cars to make it through the intersection. Or when they sit like that and all you need is 6 more inches to make a turn!

Great answers! My fiancee will get a new roll of toilet paper and set it on the sink, beside the toilet, rather than taking another second to put it on the roll... ugh!

David, I agree with you too... that's one of the worst for me! My kids are at the age where they're learning to drive... I tell them often, "Always use your turn signal".

Another one that bugs the crap out of me is when men tend to throw a fit if I'm driving and not doing twenty over the speed limit. I always tell them, "look at my driving record, and look at yours"!
