i met a man on Monday in front of the white house who is engaging in a hunger strike until the President is impeached. he informed me that there is a resolution on the house floor to impeach Cheney as we speak.
i am always surprised that though there has been so much hushed complaining about Bush's work over the last 8 year there has been no large public outcry.
would anyone else like to share thier thoughts about Bush and Cheney? should we vote to impeach or is it too late?
interesting article on the Washington Post board

Man starves himself to death in front of whitehouse
Just saying
Both need to be impeached and now not later. Even if it takes until they are both out of office it is still impeachment and they loose all benefits. are disgraced and will be shamed in the eyes of the nation.
Dems are afraid to anger the gay marriage/flag burning/prayer in schools fanatics so they crawl out of their caves and vote again if they impeach imo.
"hushed complaining" to me means that almost everyone i meet will speak about how much they are not in favor of the bush/cheney agenda, however none of them have been interested in doind something about it. it's almost like in the quiet of thier own homes they are willing to speak out, but not in a public-organized-goal-oriented fashion.
=)
Beyond and before the above-mentioned, however, is this thing: the whole past 8 years were set up by the universe, a karmic teaching and testing for the USA, for American consciousness. BushCheney could not be impeached because that would have hindered the plan of action already in place - the "soul S.A.T." as it were.
We elected Obama: we passed - we passed into the next level of teaching and testing.
History will no doubt do the impeachment some desire here/now.
