Apple Meat loaf

2 lbs. Hamburger
1 packet French onion soup mix
1 green pepper (chopped)
1 large egg
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 grannysmith apple (chopped- DE-skinned)
ketchup

Directions

mix all ingredients together except ketchup in a large bowl. Spread mixture out in a 9 by 13 inch pan. Spread a layer of ketchup over the meatloaf bake in oven at 350 degrees for 45min to 1hour until meat is cooked through

Sounds like an interesting flavor combination. Not sure if it would go over well around here as no one really likes cooked apples. Thanks.
