Tibetans are planning a march back into Tibet; and all across the world, everyone is rising up....March 10th, 2008. Join the Efforts. Its simple, it's easy, and it's our responsibility to stop the madness.
Its begun........
Do what you can to help?
•1) Boycott buying products "made in China" until Tibet is free.
•2) Go to your local rally, and participate in a "day off" everything to show support.
These next few months are critical...leading up to the Olympics.
Will China be allowed to use the Olympics like Hitler did? Or, will the world say: stop the lies, let the Dalai Lama go home....safely.
This decision isn't up to China; unless we let them by inaction. Its up to all of us......by denying their attempts to re-write history, and to destroy the Tibetan world forever.

Its time to take out world back from the real terrorists......those who sow hate & anger, spread greed; and strive for dominance over others, for their 'gain' and to the detriment of those who refuse to engage in their games.
This protest isn't just about Tibetans, its vehicle for clearly expressing how we want the world to be. The Tibetans, as epitomized by The Dalai Lama, are the best example of the change this world needs...regardless of the country we live in, the religions we believe, or what race we are. By supporting them, we support every human rights initative. We send an undeniable message to those in charge, that "We are mad as hell, and not going to take it anymore!"
Stand up for Tibet; and stand up for Life!
Do what you can. No matter how small you think it is, it will help.....and the spiritual revolution we all desire, and this world so sorely needs, will commence.
It does start here....with us....at our homes, at our churches, at our work, at our schools....everywhere we want to support life and healthy growth. Its all related, one in the same; and touches us all.

If China doesn't concede soon, they will have a huge PR mess......one they can't even conceive of......
Can you imagine walking in a group of 50,000's, or more, on a "reclamation" journey? The local Tibetan folks seeing that will be overjoyed. I gave pics of the Dalai Lama out when I cycled through the countryside.....and the response was so wonderful. The relief on their faces, just to know he was alive was amazingly heartening. It made me realize how strong these people are, and how devout they are in preserving life...while theirs was under constant threat. Humbling. Completely humbling. And enriching, at the same time.
and wanted to bless the monks for their efforts and for a safe journey.
It was amazing to me that they were soooo much alike.....both cultures. Yet, worlds apart geographically. Simultaneously both cultures developed both much the same way......and were similarly threatened by the same kind of destructive events (expansionist, random, "development" by greedy people).
Basically, both cultures are very tied into the earth/planet/life force. Not like people would have us think, as savages worshiping the sun, etc... As thoughtful, highly educated, and sophisticated cultures....albeit living in simple living conditions. People seem to consider 'living off, and with, the land" as being ignorant; when in fact, its the smartest and most 'connected' way to live life.
Yes, Jerry, you are 100% right about the comparison.....now, its time to do something about this holocaust before its too late and they Chinese start using far flung Tibetan "descendants" as fronts for mafia casinos ;-)
Sad, but true..... So, what are we going to do? Something, I hope.....if just to stop supporting all this crap financially by buying and consuming so much crap.
Does that really sound radical? Weird? "Left Field?"
have I become a 'fringe radical' just by saying these things? Speaking Capitalistic "democracy" heresy?
We have to ask ourselves one question:
"Is hanging onto the denial inherent in this 'American Delusion' worth all the pain and suffering it causes? To other countries that have to supply 'the new Rome,' to countries and peoples we are misleading down the same twisted path, to ourselves and our children's real happiness?"
Look at China for an extreme example to where that will lead...ultimately....all of the incredible buildings and engineering feats in Beijing, etc...."costing" the lives and cultures of the Tibetans (and others), and the utter destruction of the environment in which we have to live (see the pollution issues already: Pollution and the Olympic City, New York Times )

Let's see what a 6 month moratorium on Chinese imports does, eh? It should shave off a huge chunk of the trade deficit if nothing else ;-)
