Through promoting my book, Ghost to Coast, and helping promote Ghostock 6, the paranormal convention that takes place in Savannah this May, I have discovered that I really love doing public relations work. I love maintaining sites on social networks, sending out press releases, creating web pages,etc. I would love answering fan mail and sending out press kits, etc.
I believe I would prefer working with individuals rather than going with a firm. I'd like to start with one or more writers, artists, or musicians, and take it from there. Does anyone know anyone who has need of these services, or any idea how one would get started in this?
I have websites I have created and press releases and articles I've written that I could show potential clients.
I'm hoping some of you can help me get started. I know I have the ability and I have some experience to back it up, but it's all been volunteer so far.
