My golden retriever, Legend, has been staying at my parents house for the past two years. I know, I suck at responsibility. When I got married, we just had a small apartment, and I didn't want his hair everywhere. It's a poor excuse because it is all over their house. Anyway, we have a house now, so I can stop treating them like these Indianapolis dog kennels. He's been sitting on his butt and getting fat, and he's become an inside dog.
Well, that's going to change once I build a fence. It's going to take some work and I'll have to buy dowels and other materials, but I'm ready for him to come live with me again. I'm tired of having to shift responsibility to my parents. It's time I grow up and take on more responsibility in all areas of life.
Maybe, when I get my dog, we'll both get some more exercise.
