This cook wasn't stumped!
Using the five required ingredients:
Ribeye steak
Maple syrup
Cantaloupe
Goat cheese
Dried chiles
Tina http://belleoftheball.gather.com/ came up with this fabulous dinner idea.
You also get to use water, salt and pepper, oil and up to three other ingredients. Tina chose red wine vinegar, fresh spinach and hard boiled eggs.
Grind the chiles and mix half with salt and pepper for a dry rub for the steaks. Grill according to preference.
Slice the cantaloupe lengthwise into 1 to 1 1/2" slices. Place on a plate, cover with Saran Wrap and place in the fridge to chill.
Rinse and pat the spinach dry then tear into large/bite size pieces. Chop the eggs coarsely and sprinkle over the spinach. Crumble the goat cheese into the bowl.
Mix the oil, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper and remaining ground chiles in a small saucepan and heat over low heat. Add a tablespoon of the maple syrup and heat just til everything is well blended.
Drizzle the spinach salad with the hot dressing to "wilt" it. Serve with the steak and cantaloupe.
