I was walking home near a store and at the edge of a small parking lot I saw a US $20.00 bill. I ran over and picked it up and looked around. No one. If it had been some change or a $1.00, I would have picked it up and forgotten about it. But being a $20.00, I wondered how the owner could be found. I went to a pay telephone and waited briefly. Quick a man walked out of the store to his truck and started looking though his viser etc. I went close to him and asked if he lost some money. He replied "Yeah, a twenty.", but he did not look up. I told him it I found it, but I could not tell whose it was. I handed it back to the surprised man. He then explained how he lost it.
The bravest boy is not the one who does some mighty deed,
who risks his very life perchance to solve another's need,
the bravest boy is he who dares to face the scornful laugh,
for doing what he knows is right, though other mock and chaff. TWB
If you do not like my actions, then you are not mature. Before you write that I was foolish, would you still say that if it was YOUR $20.00 that I returned? If you had someone's honest actions catch you off guard, please comment on it below this article.
