Daytona 500 - Who would you like to see wreck today?

Tony Stewart he is the only driver I can not stand.

Kevin Harvick would be my second choice.

I'm not a racing fan so I don't know many. Today was supposed to be my nephew's bday party, but everyone's sick. Daytona is always on his bday party day, that's the only thing I can ever remember! We were at his party when Dale Earnhardt got killed. =(

Just so it's not Dale Jr.

I'd like to see Dale Jr. wreck ..... just because his daddy was a jerk.

Not anyone really but i do like to rehash the crashes and flips. AS long as no one is totally injured or killed!

From what I heard they almost want them to wreak.

i wish no one "in harms way" but don't like the rookies coming from other racing leagues they should stick to the race cars they know best.. so any one of them i wish they would total their cars only

Actually, Kurt Busch would be #1 on my crash list.

Was extremely excited and happy to see Jimmie Johnson crash. I can't stand him or his overly close teammate whine boy Jeff Gordon.
Tony almost got a win but I guess he just wasn't ready to get his hair cut yet.LOL
I am a Tony fan. He is awesome....He doesn't take crap from anyone and his bad boy image is awesome.

LOL Whine boy that is funny although Stewart is the biggest whiner of them all. We have a nick name for Stewart at our house but I won't say it here. I don't want to be flagged for bad language. lol

Tony is awesome!!! He doesnt whine...he point blank takes action and isnt afraid to speak his mind and he isnt nasally and whiney when he does it. He is old school racer and that is what makes him energetic and fun. I love bad boys and he is the ultimate bad boy that simply refuses to back down or take crap.

Well I don't quite see it that way but that is ok everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

I've never WANTED to see anyone crash. I am never happy when someone crashes during a race and I don't really why anyone would wish a wreck for anyone. I find that sort of creepy... so when people watch other sports like football, are you rooting for them to blow a knee or something?

One of the most miserable things for me was sitting in front of a dad who was teaching his little girl to scream for drivers that hd didn't like to "hit the wall", "wreck" or "break his neck". Thank goodness we changed our season tickets to new seats. That made me physically ill and it was hard to keep my own mouth shut.

Why can't people have fun just rooting for the guys they like? Why is it that in sports, people feel the need to root AGAINST someone? It sure gives you a picture of society these days and it's disappointing.

I'm sick of the wrecks. In the first half of the race it's meaningless as long as no one is hurt. But the end of every race has become loaded with automobile carnage that dilutes the end result down to 2 - 3 laps. I hate watching for three hours only to get a 4-5 lap sprint from a restart after a yellow flag. I guess they all try harder at the end and thus cause wrecks. I was happy that Stewart didn't win and that
Gordon was out. Why oh why does Kyle Petty even come to the track?

Jennifer - Did you not read my first statment? I said I do not wish harm on anyone but we know a wreck will happen.

Roland -I agree I do not want to see a wreck ant the end of the race. I want to see drivers race to the finish line.

As far as Petty I don't know maybe he just loves to race even if he never wins. I guess if he is still happy doing what he is doing than more power to him.

Greg Biffle is the least liked driver at my house. We're not too fond of Montoya either. My husband and I neither one like Tony Stewart either, but our 2 year old loves him. I think it's just the orange car. I'm hoping he outgrows that when he gets a little bigger. :)

Nobody wants to see anyone get hurt but how boring is a race with no cautions and all the drivers lined up single file. Crashes have always been a part of Nascar and have drawn many fans. It's just a part of the sport. Rivals have always been a part of sports as well. So if a wreck is going to happen, why not hope it's your favorite drivers rival?

Sorry I missed this! (wasn't home to catch this race) I enjoyed reading all the comments though and seeing what everyone's opinion is. I do agree with Carman though (on both comments), Jeff Gordon & Jimmie Johnson have to be the biggest whiners and complainers on the track today! It hurts my ears just to listen to them. For me it just gets so tiresome to hear them complain about things other drivers do and they go and do those same things themselves. Jeff more than Jimmie though. And I was very glad they both didn't get to finish the race too. Can't wait til Sunday's race!
