The day after the ice storm

There is no more icy rain or sleet falling today!!
There has been pretty snow gently falling off and on all day.
IT has been cold, just 19 degrees this afternoon and right now it is 18.  The sun never did make it through
the clouds but at the end of the afternoon the sky started to clear and we had some pink sunset!
About 40,000 people ended up losing their power here in town but we were not one of them.  My sister in law's sister lost hers for about 6 hours last night but it was fixed in record time if I compare it to the days and days we waited for power last year.

Tomorrow it is supposed to start to warm up and Thursday even hit 57. 

This is the weird part, the up and down extremes.  Just a few weeks ago it was warm enough to have tornados, then we had snow, then it got up to 74 and now the ice storm.
As they say in MO, 'if you don't like the weather just wait a few minutes and it may change.'
