Even the BABIES are JOURNALING!!!!!!

I thought everyone would just love this . . .

This is from a BLOG called:

It was 7 am this morning and Hanna was busy writing in her journal. She was very focused, often leaning into the paper very attentively... I wonder what she had to say that was so interesting...

Here's what Hanna's parents had to say about it . . .

I have this vision that as Hanna gets older, she and I will share a journal, writing to each other about whatever surfaces.

I think journalling is such a healthy thing -- to let the ink flow and reveal all. So often we just need a safe place to release the chatter of our minds so the voice of our heart can be heard.

I seldom go back and read my journals. But, when I do, I'm amazed at the wisdom in my words. Once the inner critic is silenced, the heart really does know.

If you've never journalled before, Hanna and I highly recommend it. It's a great vehicle for tapping into your creativity.

Isn't it . . . this photo really caught my attention as I was thinking about the Art Journals as I was browsing around on line. Then I came back in here and saw what Susy had put in here for us to see. She created such an inspirational Art Journal. And, I am sure she'll be doing many more for the children in her family. I'll definitely have to do this with my niece.

My 7 year old writes in her journal every single day.
We journal together.. it is so much fun!

I love seeing this! For years, I had a big round table (but short -- we cut down the legs to make it kid size) in the family room that we called the "art table". It was supplied at all times with paper, crayons, watercolors, pencils, stickers, stamps and many other goodies. It was a delight to watch how often my daughter, nieces and their friends used it to draw, write, make books, invitations, notes, cards, paint canvases, posters, signs, etc.

Hi Holly ~ Your seven-year old will love you for what you and she have accomplished together. Both of you will look back on your journalizing days and cherish them. Thank you for sharing your experience. I wish my mother and I had done the same. She did something very special by saving every report card, book report, photo, ribbon, etc. and saved it in albums for me. I never knew she was saving all of that stuff until I was in my later 30's. What a surprise! What you are doing for and with your daughter is wonderful!

Linda K. ~ I've personally witnessed your creativity in action. Now I see that you maintain fertile ground for creativity to transpire continually around you. Promoted Artistic Flow helps keep a good energy in your home. The art supplies being made readily available helps to bring forth latent artistic gifts and talents to all who enter in. The kid-sized table ends up having Children and adults alike ~ lol ~ Great ideas you have, Linda, as always!

This is cute.

I recently got a book called Spiritual Journaling by a semi local author. I've never really looked into doing journals, but the book spoke to me.

Perhaps I should do some looking around for Susy's article.:)

Thanks Jennifer. Yes, do check out Susy's Article. It's FEATURED. She did a wonderful job! Susy is full of sunshine all the time. She is an inspiration if I've ever seen one.
