(My mind and my shelves are about on the same megawatt so I've deleted the first article).
Dust and Glitter live in harmony and dust. I enjoy looking at all of these things and could spend hours digging around in these little villages on my shelves. Soon, I'll be rearranging everything and doing what is known as spring cleaning. Here's what my tschotskes look like now!

Yes, Everything has a story!

These were things from older family members. I am the keeper of the flames.

I treasure these as if they were gold.

Thank you for viewing my stuff.

Have a great day! Salud.

First of all, congratulations for the proper spelling of "tschotskes." This word would bring down the nimblest spelling bee runner-ups. You come out on tops.
I love the carnival characters. Imagine the joy they brought to kids when life was simpler and there was more time between the big hands of a clock.

Are you not just busting up over Douglas Q's comment? I love your mind, Douglas!
Blessings, friend...looking forward to seeing how your "little folks" re-arrange their villages next. They have truly come to life in your home, and reflect your sense of humor and nostalgia.
I have tried to clean up my little 'messes' many times over. Much like you, after arranging here and there, I almost never throw anything away. Everything is special.
Oh and I did have this written in the first article but that orange bird up there came from a dear friend, Mona D. who loves the fact that she can see something and it will have my name on it!! This orange bird - Irma Jane came across the country and didn't even break! It's from a carnival - probably 40's...Anyway, I've been so busy lately forgive me folks for not posting and commenting as much.
Pamela - thanks - I actually had misspelled it the first time - I seem to always add a z!
Judy - no telling how they'll want to move around!
Jennifer - oh for sure - I will do that...
more later - it's such a nice day that it's 74 on my patio - am typing a transcript for my book right now - Miz Flora Belle talking about growing up in her little church at Katy...
Salud.

I'm also impressed with your fluency in language. Isn't that one word Yiddish? And you're what? Cajun-French?

or a precious moments. This brings back memories for me at nanas.
I love the chalk look to some of your pieces, they remind me of winning figurines on the midway of the county fair.
