Good Morning Gather or Audrey's Crazy Coffee Club

Another week has rolled around and it seems like  the last one.  It is very cold here at 1 degree and a wind chill of -14.  But, that is an improvement over yesterday.  No sun shining this morning and a little new snow covering the cars and walks that were  cleaned off yesterday.  I am getting off to a late start today.  How was your week-end.  YeeHaw!  NASCAR is back running.  I am a huge NASCAR fan and while Kevin Harvick is my fav, I was so happy to see Dale Jr. win the Bud Shoot-out on Saturday night.  Keving wa doing commentary so it was good all around.

I have choir rehearsal today at the hospital for my Heartbeats groups and will join my GF at the mall this afternoon to walk.  With the 20 inches of snow last week, we weren't able to get together at all to walk.

Come on in and sit a spell.  Let's visit.

Correct that, 9:40. Hey, Sadie, if you're still there it's almost as cold here. We're supposed to get a high of 12 today. I just had the dog out and tried to feed the birds but there's too much ice to get to the feeders. I finally just tossed some seed and bread along the path.

Had I been there longer I would have taken a carriage ride too. My GF was pretty hung over from the night before and not in much shape to sight see. I loved it there but Nassau along the docks was not what I expected.

One thing I thought was interesting is that though there are not a lot of cars and the streets are very narrow, they seem to park every which way.

I am glad you won't have to walk in this cold Sheryl. I don't mind getting out in weather that is teens or 20s if there is not a strong wind, but the last few days it has been miserable.

Steve I wasn't reall there long enough to see a lot, but one thing I really liked was the cheerfulness of the colors on the buildings. They are all painted pastel colors unlike our browns and greys in this country. The water is a beautiful turquoise, and the people are outgoing.

I went on a cruise with a friend of mine to nassau. The ship was magnificent. It will be some time before I end up on a cruise ship again. While in Nassau we visited their aquarium. What a wonderful one they have there. It was gorgeous at night too. I have video of some of the cruise.
