There is this really sweet elderly lady who used to always bring Green Bean Supreme to church functions. I loved it. It was simple yet tasty. She would not give anyone the recipe. She said it had been in her family for years and it was a secret.
Well she is unable to talk now. Bless her heart, she is in a care center. She does not respond to anyone. She was one of those ladies that everyone just loved.
Her granddaughter gave me the recipe and I wanted to share it with you. It is wonderful to take to a sick family, church functions or for family dinners at home. Hope you enjoy it.
