Political Party Glasses

This election season is beginning to make me ill. It seems that every election year, the party that doesn't control the presidency paints America in the worst possible light. In 1976 it was Carter blasting Nixon, in 1980 it was Reagan blasting Carter, in 1992 it was Clinton blasting Bush Sr, in 2000 it was Bush jr blasting Clinton, in 2008 it's Clinton blasting Bush jr...

 I know it's all politics but I have watched as decency and civility is being flsuhed down the toilet. These guys think nothing of running down the incumbent and the country. They essentially tell us that our country sucks and only they can fix it.

 I'm just getting tired of the same old shit. Perhaps Obama can be that breathe of fresh air. It just seems that  unless the party not in power seems to always try to make us look at EVERYTHING through their doom and gloom glasses. The media jumps in on both right and left... is it any wonder that we can never get the straight scoop about this fast talking snake oil salesmen we call "presidential material".  

 For once I wish we could actually hea the "truth" about what is going on in our own country. I'm tiredi of every talking head and newscaster filtering my info... and don't say go gto the internet. t'sa even worse- and that includes Gather. It's so full of opinions.... and you know about opinions... they're just like buttholes... everyone has one and us'ually they stink.
