VOAT Silhouette

Interesting choice of subject matter. 

Paint Shop Pro 9.01 - this has an upscale techie look to me, so I chose to layer this in the green/blue shades already present.

I then took a tube of a male alien (see his tail?); silhouetted him and joined the two on another layer. 

Using gradients on different layers I placed some bursts around and then added illumination techniques.  I copied their lower portion, flipped it and added a gradient shadow to that part.  Then I changed the overall color with a metal gray wash.  To complete the picture, I did an offset with another gradient and then completed the framing with a dual - sided buttonize effect.

Nancy, after I learned layers, I went a little loopy. Not that it was a big jump for me, but I usually go off the deep end with new techniques in PSP.
