Hannah Hype

This movie is raking it in!  Over the weekend it pulled in $29 million, a record for a movie going against the Super Bowl.  I have some friends who went and saw it and loved it.  I've watched the show a few times.  It's not bad, but I don't really understand the hype.   I guess it's just a generational thing.  Back in my day, you had the Turtles, and they were sweet.  Then, you had the Power Rangers, but I don't think I've seen a crazy like this one before.  I mean, you can sell anything with her including Hannah Montana birthday cakes.

There are other shows out there like Dora the Explorer that draw a large market, but nothing like this.  It's really quite brilliant from Disney because they are already making a ton of money on the concerts, but very few of the Hannah fans can get there.  This way, you're opening up the ticket gates to millions of more fans for less money, but still making a huge profit.  This show could go on for a while.
