I thought I might help you die-hard Giants fans celebrate a little with a few Haiku's. They're not exactly in the stream of things I suppose, but at least the syllables match I think, ha. No offense Patriots fans, just want to have some fun...

I will admit to pulling for the Giants by the way as spoilers, and can only imagine how proud Archie Manning, the father of Eli and Peyton must be today.

True Giants fans kept the faith...

New York Giants knew

That big trophy, will be blue

Eli is the Man!

...................................................

The Giants kept the pressure on Brady and played well....

Only Eli threw

Brady knew not what to do!

Giants shining through

My hat off to the Giants defense, no 19-0 this year....

Pats are feeling blue

Defense shut them down, it's true!

ONE loss, just for you

What happened to coaches congratulating the winner on the field....

With time on the clock

Pats Coach runs from field to pout

No handshake? Boo hoo

By the way, don't the numerals for this year's Super Bowl- "XLII" kind of remind you of a T-shirt size? Does me..... ;-)

Thanks people, I saw most of the game and wanted to see the half-time performance by Tom Petty. It actually wasn't too bad a game, though I'm not really a fan of either team. I even peeked in on the Puppy Bowl (animal planet) on for a while, ha ha.

You know what, John, someday they will. They just need some real support from people here in Arizona. You would be surprised at how many people in that place were rooting for the opposing team when Robert and I went. It's really kind of sad. Robert and I always support them no matter who they are playing.

Sue- thanks. I'm not really a fan anymore either. I probably wouldn't have seen any of that game at all if my wife didn't insist on watching. I used to live for football, but that was long ago, ha ha. I always have a million ideas on things to write actually, just don't seem to get around to putting them down on paper... Once in a while though.... ;-)
