Last week, we had weird weather. Ok, normal for Michigan, I guess.
On Monday, it was around 45 out, unseasonably warm, melted snow, and rain showers. It rained on and off through Tuesday. Come Tuesday night, the tempreture dropped ultra fast, down to 10 in about an hour, over night.
All that rain (and it was borderline flooding our parking lot) froze. No school on Wednesday.
By Thursday, the ice was gone, there was a very light dusting of snow, and life was good. There was school.
Come Friday, it had started snowing over night. We had around half a foot by morning. Oh, gods, save me now- no school on Friday.
All weekend, it's been decent out- snow melting, warmer weather, no new snow, no rain, no ice.
But, lord help me, it's snowing out- a lot. Snow, snow, snow.
At this rate, I can foresee tomorrow- no school. MAKE IT STOP!
I do have a plan in place, though. Our state taxes are due to be deposited tomorrow. If that happens, and at noon, the roads aren't too bad, I'll take the little monsters to see the new Veggie Tales movie. It'll get em out of the house. Please, please, please, make the snow stop!

Yeah, I don't expect school tomorrow. -grumble-
Stacie wants it, she can have it! ;)
<~~ Praying the snow away from your side of the Us!!
Still snowing like crazy out. Last week my sister had to take care of all 4 of her grandchildren on the snow day. And the day that the rain froze, I couldn't get into my car — all of the doors were frozen shut.
We shall see what the morrow brings. . .
