Apple Butter in the Crockpot

This has to be one of the easiest recipes I've ever seen.
Ingredients:
10 apples, large, peeled, cored
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. clove, ground
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
- Cut the apples into medium slices.
- Place in the crockpot.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Cook for 6 hours or until thick and dark on low heat (medium setting).
- Stir frequently.
- Refrigerate.
- Serve on whole wheat biscuits.
Makes 4 cups.
