The Blank Notebook

Very deep and inspiring. I actually have this odd urge to collect notebooks and office supplies. Then I'm not sure what the heck I want to do with them! LOL! If I write in them, it spoils the pristine whiteness of it! Silly, huh?

Fresh new pages always inspire me to write!!

Thats exactly what I do Barbara. I have a countless number of notebooks all through out my house. Most only have a few pages written on. I love the look and feel of a new notebook so once it's used I tend to not mess with it anymore. I also have a hard time with writing in the really nice meaningful notebooks and journals becouse I want to use them for something special, but never know what to do "special' with it. Oh and pens...I am picky when it comes to pens. I like them to write a certain way. The ink has to flow a certain way for me to like the pen.

Kimberly it does me too. I wrote this and i am actually very happy about it. I have not written anything poem like in so long...I missed it and I was starting to feel like the writer inside me was gone. So I know that the writer is there just rusty and a little hidden.

I'm glad you feel the call of those empty pages. I love your writing.

I love journals. I always make sure I have one nearby and get my nieces new ones every holiday.

Funny you say that Layla because I am writing in them right now an d I just finished soemthing that I am going to give my husband as a lead up to valentines day. I think I might have to sahre it on gather though. I am really excited about it and want to sahre it with someone and can't wait for him to get it.

Ian- I guess so. I am sure all writers love the look of a blank piece of paperor notebook. I wouldn't consider myself a writer, but I would love to be one.

I found a notebook this weekend that I apparently purchased some time ago. It has absolutely nothing written in it. Not a date, not a word, nothing.

I placed it on my night stand. I don't know what I'll put in it, but it will come to me.

I love a good, clean notebook.

I hoard office supplies and I am proud of it! One day there will be a shortage of office supplies and you will ALL be bowing to me! MUAH HA HA HA!
