Last evening our local annual Mental Health Benefit Art Auction was held and has happily raised over $9000 for this worthy cause!
It's been a few years since I donated artwork for this much-needed Benefit so this year I got on the proverbial stick and offered three drawings: Fairy Glen, Minnie's Masquerade, and Fonda and Friends (a detail from which you see here.)
Fairy Glen captured $110, Fonda and Friends, $80, and Minnie nabbed $85, so I'm very pleased that my work has added to the coffers of an organisation which does much for our community in a way that America should laud--especially given the sad state of mental health services in this, the "richest" nation in the world.
