Hope draws me in
With soft tendrils
Slipping over
Long untouched skin
Small fires to tell
Of your passage
Again, again
Until I breathe
Sweet scents of you,
Perfume mingled
With fragrant hair
Sweeping my cheek
So tempts sore eyes
Open to see
Your offerings,
Splendor returned
To heal again,
Enwrapped, replete
Joy, enthralled,
Eyed love so deep . . .
Should they open
And discover
The truth of it?
Or kiss and hope?

Thank you, Lynn. I'm glad the poem reached a warm spot.
Jim- you are so good at controlling your verse like this, and the first stanza I especially love, as it stirs that sense of longing, of wanting to go exactly where you are being led.
Nice work!
Thank you for this lovely verbal adagio danced by two loving souls swirling together -- again.

Your friend,
