I enjoy articles about where to "find" money. How many of us actually set aside our found money and invest it in something where it will grow? I experimented this month by tracking and saving all extra cash I found outside of my normal income. Here's the result:
Citibank credit card rewards: $112.16
Rolled coins $59.50
Amazon Sales $18.12 (after shipping costs)
Insurance refund $67.00
Grand total = $256.78
I transferred the money to my Sharebuilder account and next Tuesday, $250 of it is scheduled to be invested in a stock that I picked. I'm going to do this again for February.
