She usually goes every year about this time. She's almost blind but she loves it. She hates it when she takes the cruise from Texas. She doesn't like Texans ("All they do is eat" - and she is prejudiced again fat people) but she likes the ships that leave from Florida. She says the crowd is more International and interesting.
A few days ago she went shopping downtown for new dresses but didn't buy any. She says they all look like they were made for 30 year olds. Then she said she would just wear all her old dresses because nobody on the ship has seen any of them before anyway.
I'm going to help her get to the airport shuttle at four in the morning, tomorrow. My alarm is set but I told her to call me on the phone just in case. I said if I still don't wake up then just pound on my door with a hammer. She could take her suitcase down the three flights of steps herself but I don't want her waiting outside at that hour by herself. And there's snow all over.
She'll probably return with a red nose and drinking stories (like the last time).
