Siblings? How Many?

This is an article I have not seen since being on gather since August. 

What size of family did you come from?  Where are you in birth order?

Do you feel like you posess the qualities of first born?  Middle?  Baby?

I am the oldest of two.  I am the only girl.  I was born into a strict Catholic family.  Yes, I do find that I am the over-protective oldest sibling, and I feel like my brother is the favorite and the baby!

I hope to learn more about you and hopefully I won't drudge up any family/sibling resentments!

I have a brother who is 2 years older and 1 that is 4 years younger. I am the middle child and Idont mind maybe since I was a girl. I found out when I was about 10-11 that my biological dad had a daughter named Megann so I have a sister who is about the same age as my little brother. I met her once and thouht she was a brat :). We have talked a few times and thats it.

I have an older brother and two younger sisters. My bro was spoiled by my mom and my baby sister Robin was spoiled by my dad.

That left my sister Shelley and I (less than a year apart) to fend for ourselves.

Just kidding. She is my best friend, though.

My husband is #4 out of 5. His poor sister is right smack dab in the middle and all her sibs are boys! I am the oldest grandchild (on both sides) and I guess I was spoiled. DOn't feel like it tho.! :)

First born of five. I have three younger sisters and a brother who is the "baby" of the family.

I am definitely a 'first born' in most regards (hyper responsible, bossy, tend to take myself a bit too seriously, overly analytical)

I have two sisters and 1 brother. I was the 3rd born, but actually felt like the 1st born. My older brother and sister were 9 and 10 years older than me...so by the time I as really old enough to notice or care, they were teenagers and getting ready to leave the nest.

There are 5 of us. 2 older sisters, an older brother, then me (I was suppose to be the youngest) and then came my younger brother 6 years later. Then my mom adopted my nephew. I'm my mom's favorite of the girls and my younger bio-brother is her favorite out of the boys.

My younger brother and I are really close and I haven't talked to the other ones in quite some time. We're not close like we used to be.

Oh yea I forgot to add I also have 2 step-brother and a step-sister on my mom's side too. I don't talk to them much either. I actually haven't talked to a couple of them for over 5 yrs.

There are six of us kids, 3 boys and 3 girls; I'm the second born. Unfortunately, we live in four different states now, and the youngest brother is deceased. So we don't see each other as much as we would like. Email is a great thing though... ;-)

I was the oldest of 3 girls. 2 boys were in between us but they died at birth. Being the oldest I was the one my dad took hunting & fishing. We lost the middle sister years ago so my baby sister is very close. And yes I'm very protective.

I'm the oldest. I have one brother, five years younger. I would have liked more siblings and always wanted a sister (Heather, you're the closest I got to having a sister!). I want to have at least one more child (I've got a 14 year old and a 6 month old, and I want the 6 month old to have a sibling close in age).

I am the second oldest out of 11. Yeah, you read that right.
I have 1 older brother, 7 younger brothers, and two younger sisters.
I definitely feel like the protective older sibling, even though I have one older brother. I guess it's the mom in me!

i am the 54 yo baby... , then one sister is 3 years older...
and my other sister is 12 years older ... and big brother is 15 years older...
it's like mom and dad stopped for awhile and then started up again... hehe...
we lost our dad at 48 yo and our mom at 59 yo.... way too soon...
us kids get along great, even though we are spread out all over...
