I was just wondering who out there has a tattoo.
If so:
- how many do you have?
- what design(s)?
- where (on your body)?
- how old were you when you first got one?
- do you regret getting one?
I don't have any tattoos....I was just wondering about it.

I got it the day after I grauated high school.I was 18.
I do not regret it.. I love it even though I really dont see it ;)
Here is a link for anyone interested in looking at it!

The pain isn't too bad... It just feels like you are being scratched by a cat repeatedly in the same spot...
a cross on my right wrist, a hear on my left arm, just below the elbow area, a heart with a star on my left angle.
I regret all of them - cuz now they are there forever.
I have a scene on my ankle with dragonflies, wild irises, my 3 boys' names and a ribbon that goes all the way around it
I have 3 nautical stars down each arm starting from the tip of my shoulders (to represent 5.5.5, the date my husband and I got married, my 3 children and to also represent some important personal things that have happened in my life)
I have a very small 4 leaf clover on my belly button (my first one, at age 18)
I also have a sugar skull on my arm to pay tribute to the people I've lost during this lifetime
I have a king and queen set of sparrows on my chest (to represent my husband and I)
I don't regret ANY of them because I put a lot of thought into them and they all mean something very, very special to me!
I do not, nor will I ever regret getting this tattoo and I would LOVE to get some more.
The second is a fairy on my left thigh. A picture of it is here. I was 35 when I got this one. She has very special meaning to me.
I don't regret either of them, and I'll probably add another before long.
de plane, de plane, boss
ok, no I don't.
My second one is on my hip of a little flower. It wasn't planned. I was with three other friends and we were discussing my tattoo and how they all wanted to get one. We were getting ready to go to a Kenny Chesney concert and all decided to go get one before the concert. They weren't matching or anything like that. It was a blast and a story I love to tell.
I don't regret any of them. I love that I have a connection to my friends and it's a story I'll always cherish. I don't have any plans of getting another one, but who knows I may just change my mind.
My niece has a beautiful dragon around the waist and her children above her heart. Hubby has a deputy dog (he's a cop) and a bull dog.
It's good to see you Kathy. I've missed you articles. I hope you're doing well.
Anyone think that would work?
But if you did have a tattoo, what would it be?
Perhaps a big rose - my grandmother's name was Rose and my maiden name was Deneve. One of my blogs is the garden of e-deneve.
what design(s)?...panthers mostly
where (on your body)?...ankles, lower leg, lower back
how old were you when you first got one?...20
do you regret getting one?...absoloutely yes. I also used to have lots of piercings but grew out of that too. Luckily you can take peircing out but tattoos are forever.
My first I got when I was 17 is on the lower right of my back and is baby lizard with big blue eyes.
I got my second about a week later and it is on my upper right shoulder. It is a heart that is colored like waves with a rose through it.
My third is an armband on my left arm that is a tiny vine with flowers.
My fourth is an anklet of a vine and flowers on my left ankle.
My fifth is a butterfly above the lizard on my back...I don't really like it very much, I need to get it touched up.
My sixth is on my upper left shoulder and it is a cartoon cat with fairy wings (my two favorites, cats & fairies)
My half (hehe) that I had done this summer was an extension of my anklet. I got the vine branching off around my ankle and it goes down onto my foot. Hanging off the bottom of the vine is the scorpio sign that looks like an M with a devil tail and there is a halo on part of the scorpio sign as well (representing my good and evil sign as well as my birth sign I guess :) ) --- I have picture of this one on my Gather page but it's pretty far back
I have been wondering where you were. Have not seen much of you lately.
I am so terrified of needles,
Hubby has one, it is on the center of his upper back and lower part of his neck. It is the first part of our last name, then some design above it.
He HATES it and wishes that it was not there. He got it when he was 18 I think, and just starting college.
Also, if anyone gets the urge for a tattoo and plans on living a nice, long life, go to a nursing home and check out some of the tattoos on the older residents. Many are clearly visible and they don't look so great, usually. Imagine the word "Mom" or "Greetings" or an image of..whatever...that is supposed to be on someone's chest but has managed to move nearly down to the toes. That ought to serve as fair warning and if it does not then you are probably someone who really wants a tattoo.
I forget I have it, and someone will bring it up that it looks cute,And it takes me a second to wonder what the heck there referering to..
I don't reget it because it's not big or something that will go out of stlye it's a cross..
I wouldn't get anymore though.. It was a teenage thing many ,many years ago..
I went with my friend when she had her first two done. Both times I nearly passed out from watching her get stuck with the needle. The artist kept asking me if I was ok. I decided right then I would probably never get one. LOL
