I just started reading, The Language of Baklava and so far I am really enjoying it. I am thinking it must be a woman type book because my Assistant Principal read it and he wasn't overly impressed, but I find myself really into it.

So, what is everyon else reading? I love to talk about books, so I hope someone is reading something I will enjoy....Please share !!

I don't think I"ve heard of that book.
I'm currently reading: The Scent of Shadows: THe First Sign of the Zodiac by Vicki Pettersson. I just started it and so far it's interesting.

I'm reading several books on religion right now. I'm having doctrinal disagreements with someone close to me. Since none are cover to cover, I don't know if I can call it "reading" as much as studying? I bought two O.Henry books at a thrift shop, and hope to start them soon!
I'm reading Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert, it is really good!
I'm re-reading New Moon by Stephanie Meyer currently, as well as Lovers & Players by Jackie Collins (not a Jackie fan, but it's interesting enough, I suppose).

I've got a book from Gather on it's way for a fiction readers book club, so I'l start that when it arrives.

Not reading anything at the moment. But am listening to the harry potter books on audio. I've never read them and need something to listen to on my way into and home from work so I thought I would give it shot.

I am reading The Cathedral by Nelson DeMille. A wacked out splinter group of the IRA has taken the Cardinal and some other people hostage and wired St. Patrick's Cathedral to blow with them in it at 6AM! I have to get back!

I am reading Mitch Albom-For one more day, he wrote "Tuesdays with morrie'. Have a Gather book coming, and have almost finished "Rules for Renegades", great book. Christine Comaford-Lynch wrote it, she was here on Gather. Your book sounds Greek and good. I had a Greek patient I loved, and she and her family made it homemade. Man, I want some now. Ellen b

I just finished "Kite Runner". It was a very good book about 2 friends in Afghanistan growing up before and during the wars. I am now reading "The Golden Compass". Very good book.

Right now I'm reading "Then We Came to the End" by Joshua Ferris, "The Audacity of Hope" by Barack Obama, "War and Peace" by Leo Tolstoy, and "I Am America and So Can You!" by Stephen Colbert. I always have several books going. It's a sickness really.

I just finished "Arthur and George" by Julian Barnes and I highly recommend it by the way.
