Dove Grey- Grey is the new black in smoky eyes. Use along brow bones and the inner corner of your eyes, and skip liner and mascara. Wear this look with matte skin and light pink lips for daytime!
Pink- Pink is in! How to incorporate it? Get a cream (not a powder!) highlighter blush and apply to the apples of your cheeks. This will give you a dewy finish, a healthy glow, and just the right amount of colour.
Deep, inky blue polish- Deep nail colours have been all the rage the past few seasons, with fall's purples and blacks. Now midnight blues take center stage. I predict that this will be in style this spring, as well, even as fabrics transition to bright colours, but use the polish you buy quickly, because dark colours will be out by summer!
Sally Hansen Color Quick Fast Dry Nail Color Pen- This is the best up-and-coming item. I predict this will be the must-have for spring and summer, and will probably beat out Avon's instant manicure peel-and-stick polish stuff. Look for it in your drug store (no having to wait for your representative to bring it to you, like with Avon, and with affordable enough prices that you could buy it in every color). The only downside to this one is so far, there aren't many colors.
Purple- This is another next big thing. Look for purple everywhere. Makeup, accessories, clothing. I say don't wear too much purple at once. Wear other colours paired with purple accessories and makeup, or wear purple clothing and use another colour for makeup and accessories, but no matter what, make sure to have some purple pieces on hand.

It's been a pretty interesting thing.... I was a little surprised when black nails were hot in fall, because I did the black nail thing about a year prior, and everyone called me a goth for it (which I'm not... lol). So black in fall, then deep dark purple in winter, and now the deep dark blue...... I'm wondering how much longer these dark colours will last.
